Volunteers are a valuable resource at Wildside and play an integral role in accomplishing our mission — helping care for hundreds of wild birds and mammals each year.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Hands-on care, every shift.
Most of our volunteers work directly with the animals, while others provide invaluable assistance with the many other essential tasks that keep Wildside running.

Food preparation and hand-feeding wildlife

Cleaning cages and maintaining a clean clinic environment

Providing food and water for outdoor enclosures

Assisting with medication and general animal care

Supporting other duties as directed by supervisors
REQUIREMENT
What we look for.
All Wildside volunteers and interns must have or be:
Commitment, reliability, and punctuality
Reliable Trasportation
Appreciation of all wild animals
Clear Understanding of Wildside's mission
Willingness to get your hands dirty
Patience and ability to work with others
